Yesterday, I was working on our 2016 operational budget and realized that this new year is quickly approaching.
And whenever we look to the future, we are faced with uncertainty.
What will this new year bring?
New life? Hope for a brighter tomorrow? New opportunities?
Or death, hardship, pain, suffering and hunger?
Well, thanks to the good folks over at Single Socks Thrift Store who just gave us a $4,000 grant for the soup kitchen, we will be able to offer up some hope and a few meals to some of our families.
Meals that may make the difference between having their kids eat that day or go hungry.
A big thanks to Single Socks and everyone else who so kindly open their hearts at this time of year.
It is because of people like you that we are able to keep feeding some very hungry people.
