Snow Days And Special Hours

The Silver City Gospel Mission follows the Silver City Consolidated School Schedule for snow days.

Specific hours are as follows:

  • We will always try and open the soup kitchen and serve breakfast at 8:30 am regardless of the weather, God willing.
  • If there is a two-hour delay, the thrift store, food pantry and clothing bank will open at 9:30 am.
  • If school is closed, the thrift store, food pantry and clothing bank will be closed.
  • If there is a two-hour delay or school closure, the Thursday Morning Market will be canceled and the senior pantry may or may not be open-it depends if we can get a semi-truck in, so please call.
  • We are open every weekday, except Memorial Day, the 4th of July, Labor Day, and the week after Christmas
  • We always try and serve a holiday meal on Thanksgiving and Christmas Days

Thank you.
