…Yes.

You could change someone’s world forever.

From despair to hope...help us to help those who are hurting.

In our eyes, every person we encounter is part of our community. That is, every person — from the panhandler sitting outside of Walmart to the young mother who clearly needs help for her children but is too ashamed to ask for it. Homelessness and poverty encountered in public still becomes an invisible problem when we see it and do nothing.

But, if we do something...maybe we give a hungry person a granola bar and an apple.

Maybe we give somebody our time and our listening...and we truly and deeply listen, and send up our prayers for that person.

Sometimes, we offer our dollars to groups or individuals working to help those who are living in a state of loss, addiction, loneliness and despair.

There are people in our community who are living in deep pain and are in need of someone who will just look at them, who will remember their name, who reminds them that there is hope and renewal through union with God in Jesus Christ. And we are grateful for the chance to do these things for them and more — with your invaluable support.

Every dollar you give to the mission helps to feed someone, clothe someone, listen to someone. And all of those actions could save the life of that someone. If you love our humble little town of Silver City, if you can imagine what it’s like to live here during our different seasons having nothing and nobody and no safe place to go, then please partner with us in bringing love and hope to the people who need it most.

Be the light to someone’s dark.

It’s easy to give. Here are two ways.

  1. Visit our Network for Good site, linked below. We encourage you to become a regular supporter with a recurring donation. We will see to it that you hear of the difference it makes.

  2. Physical checks may be sent to our mailing address below. God bless you.

If we wish to serve God and love our neighbor well, we must manifest our joy in the service we render to Him and them. Let us open wide our hearts. It is joy which invites us. Press forward and fear nothing.
