Come one come all to the Silver City Gospel Mission's $2 bag of clothing sale this Saturday, February 11th, from 11 am-4 pm!
Everyone is welcome, ticket or not, and as it promises to be warm and sunny outside, drop by and have a seat as you enjoy some free coffee and refreshments in our kitchen while admiring our brand-new stove (Courtesy of the Town of Silver City)!
We are also participating in the Mimbres Regional Arts Council Chocolate Fantasia event and Silver City Main Street Shop Local Event.
This year, our chocolate will be made by chocolatier Simon Sotello and will feature his unique, creative, and artistic spin on chocolate raspberry tarts.
Chocolate Fantasia Ticket Holders will check in at the HUB for their program and ticket, follow the map to participating businesses that have purple balloons outside, get their ticket stamped, and, if desired, buy a $2 golden ticket chocolate bar for a chance to win some great prizes ($50 value).
Finally, they will return to the HUB with their stamped ticket to get their chocolates and vote for the best chocolate!
There will also be a costume contest at 1:30 pm at the HUB, Willy Wonka, And The Chocolate Factory will be playing at 2:00 pm at the Silco Theater, and an awards ceremony at 4:30 at The Toad.
Music will be playing throughout downtown all day long!
The Silver City Gospel Mission is located in downtown Silver City directly behind Jalisco's Restaurant, down past the blinking stoplight. We look forward to seeing you here!
