Blessed 4th

Dear friends,

After such a long winter and crazy spring I can hardly believe that summer is finally here in southwestern New Mexico.

With some of the long hot days reaching just over ninety and the nights dipping in the low-fifties some of our folks are in need of: sunscreen, after burn gel, chap stick, bug repellant, rain ponchos (98₵ at Walmart), deodorant, combs, brushes, feminine hygiene products, shower shoes or flip flops, razors, baby wipes and bottles of water (10 to 12oz size)

Since January 2019 has served:

6342 Meals, 1552 Food Bags, 4811 Households, 921 Children

Aside from our weekly Bible studies on Tuesdays and Thursdays, we have also started a weekly ESL (English as a Second Language), which began back in February of this year. SCGM also supplied Deming Asylum seekers with baby supplies, ie diapers, clothes etc. As well as gently used sheets and blankets we recused from the hospital.

We could not continue this work without your abundant prayers and monetary donations

Household Donations can be dropped off at 111 S. Texas St. Monday thru Friday 830am-130pm

Or mailed to PO Box 5198 Silver City, NM 88062

In HIS service

Amy
